At Music Gorilla we like to think there’s always room to learn more, but it’s especially easy and convenient when it’s on your own time (and when there are no tests!). And, when it’s something that can help you get (and keep) your fans, well, that’s priceless info!
We’ve just learned that our friend Andrew Apanov, the founder of Dotted Music and WeSpin (a training and community platform helping artists grow their careers), has launched a free, email-based course for musicians called Fan Engagement Faculty.
It’s filled with practical growth hacks and tricks on engaging your fans on social media. And based on the feedback from over a thousand musicians who have completed it so far, it actually works: http://box.wespin.co/
We love the format of the course: you receive all lessons (eight total) via email, within three weeks (and like we said – no tests!!). Each email includes a detailed, step-by-step guide, a worksheet (Andrew replies to everyone who fills it out), and a link to a complimentary video lesson. Very convenient, since you actually own all the lessons, and can work on them at your own pace.
And best of all, the Fan Engagement Faculty course is completely free, sign up at http://box.wespin.co/

You and other sources offer a wealth of good information. I am a one man show. I have already spent a ton of time going through much of it and done my own research by various means, etc. I have to devote more time to DOING, not just researching & learning. There is no better way to lean than by doing. There is no better way to understand than to refer to the research and info at the moment you need it – at the moment you are DOING it. Only then does it really sink-in. relate, and make sense. Until then, it is just theory. The good thing is your info will be available. Have to be practical, can’t put the cart before the horse, have to be effective – it is all in the balance. Thank you for all you do.
