It seems that some of the submission instructions have been overlooked, so I have set up a checklist for you to go over before submitting:

 

♪ Is the song you’re submitting on your profile page at www.MusicGorilla.com?

♪ Have you attached the MP3?

♪ Is the song appropriate for the submission?

 

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:

Here are the latest submissions. In order to submit for these projects, please email alexia@musicgorilla.com the title of the submission, the name of the song(s) you are submitting, Band/Artist name and attach the mp3(s) to the email. Please make sure that the music you are submitting is appropriate for the submission and that the song(s) are on MusicGorilla.com. If the song is not what the supervisor is asking for, it will not be submitted.

 

Due to the high profile nature of some of these submissions, it has become necessary for our music editor to screen certain submissions in order for the Music Supervisors to continue accepting material from Music Gorilla. Also, in certain instances there is a limit to the amount of material we can send, these submissions will also be screened. All screened submissions will be noted.

 

ONGOING - Newsletter Submissions:  We want to promote you! If you have news, please send it to us for possible inclusion in our newsletter. We love telling everyone about our artists accomplishments, send us your news and it may end up in the monthly newsletter that goes out to our entire email list.

SUBMISSION 1 – “A Good Old Fashioned Orgy” Feature   Deadline: 4/25/09 Limit – 2 songs per submission.
SYNOPSIS: Story about eight friends, all heading into their 30s and all on the verge of major life changes. One of their number (Jason Sudeikis) has to get real his father decides to sell the family vacation home in the Hamptons, thus terminating his tradition of throwing elaborate summer theme parties. Wanting to go out with a bang, he enlists his friends to throw one final party  to celebrate their last Labor Day together in the Hamptons. What kind of party?- an orgy natch.

SEEKING: Songs about sex (nothing too explicit). Genres - Rock, Alt Rock tunes.

 

SUBMISSION 2 – “Night Of The Demons” – Feature  Deadline 4/30/09 – Limit 2 songs/artist

This is a re-make of the 1988 movie.

SYNOPSIS: Angela Feld (Shannon Elizabeth) is throwing the Halloween party to end all Halloween parties at the infamous Broussard Mansion in New Orleans along with her friends including Maddie Curtis (Monica Keena), Lilly (Diora Baird) and Suzanne (Bobbi Sue Luther) . Broussard Mansions, however, is where dark events transpired almost a century ago where six people disappeared from the mansion without a trace and the owner, Evangeline Broussard, hung herself. At the decadent, out-of-control party, Maddie and Lily run into their exes, Colin and Dex(Michael Copon), while Suzanne parties it up. Good times end, however, when the police bust up the party. After the rest of the guests leave, Angela, Maddie, Lily, Dex, Colin (Edward Furlong), Suzanne and their friend Jason are left behind. Soon Colin and Angela make a grisly discovery in the basement and inexplicable events start to take place. With the mansion gates mysteriously locked, the seven find themselves trapped for the night...and soon they're fighting ancient demons for their very souls. It turns out that the Broussard Mansion is home to demons that need to possess seven vessels to break free of an ancient curse. One by one the guests fall victim, transforming into hideous creatures. Only Maddie, Colin and Jason(John F. Beach) remain but can they make it through the night and keep evil forces from spreading into the world?
