that some of the submission instructions have been overlooked, so I have set up
a checklist for you to go over before submitting:

attached the MP3?
♪ Is the
song appropriate for the submission?
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
Here are the latest submissions. In
order to submit for these projects, please email alexia@musicgorilla.com the title of
the submission, the name of the song(s) you are submitting, Band/Artist name
and attach the mp3(s) to the email. Please make sure that the music you are
submitting is appropriate for the submission and that the song(s) are on
MusicGorilla.com. If the song is not what the supervisor is asking for, it
will not be submitted.
Due to the high profile nature of
some of these submissions, it has become necessary for our music editor to
screen certain submissions in order for the Music Supervisors to continue
accepting material from Music Gorilla. Also, in certain instances there is a
limit to the amount of material we can send, these submissions will also be
screened. All screened submissions will be noted.
ONGOING - Newsletter Submissions: We want to promote you! If you have news,
please send it to us for possible inclusion in our newsletter. We love telling
everyone about our artists accomplishments, send us your news and it may end up
in the monthly newsletter that goes out to our entire email list.

venue for next years showcases to take place during a huge festival in Austin, TX. This means we can
already begin accepting submissions! Here are some things you should know:
These showcases are INDEPENDENT of SXSW, in other words, they are NOT official showcases.
Each performer will receive written
feedback from a MAJOR LABEL A&R rep
Past A&R reps have been with
Virgin Records, Capitol Music Group, Sony, Epic and others.
The shows will take place March 18th – 22nd,

MTV Catalog – MTV has agreed to accept artists
from MusicGorilla.com into its catalogue! As many of you know, the Music
Supervisors for MTV first look to the catalog of already cleared material that MTV
has in order to find music for their original programming. Now, due to our
relationship with MTV, MusicGorilla.com artists will be considered for this
catalog. If selected your music will be in the running for placement on MTV!
All MusicGorilla.com clients will be considered, and this will be an ongoing
opportunity. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SUBMIT FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY, ALL MG MEMBERS WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Submission 3: “Vain Attempt” Indie Feature Deadline:

SYNOPSIS: Set against the wealthy
backdrop of the fashion world a robbery takes place.
SEEKING: Songs about fashion,
wealth, money. Also looking for an up to date Asian track.
Submission 5: “Johnny Montana” Feature Film
Deadline: August 5th Limit: 2 songs/artist
SYNOPSIS: Johnny Montana, a mid 20's guy from Brooklyn who wants to
"stretch" himself and see life beyond his neighbourhood and
surroundings. His is a trapped at home existence with aging parents and an
unemployed brother. In his quest he gets a concierge job in Manhatten and falls
into a dark underworld where he sells his soul in a world where money is king
and soon enough it brings him everything he wants - or so he thought...
SEEKING: Looking for some great upcoming bands with great music that deserves
to be heard. Music needed to replace "temp" tracks & timings as
follows:
1) Jimmy Eat World - "The Middle" (1m 34 sec usage) - Opening Main
Titles
2) The Eels - "Elizabeth On The Bathroom Floor" (1

SEEKING: A composer who can deliver an acoustic and/or orchestral score. Please
no synth music. As a reference of the kind of vibe required listen to
Thomas Newman's work on "The Shawshank Redemption" or Jon Brion's
work on "Magnolia". A further example is Danny Elfman's "Good
Will Hunting". Long Beach, CA based composer

Great Western is a well respected indie producer of dramas and documentaries.
Credits include "Camera Café", "Last Furlong" and Trouble
In Paradise". "Galway Races" is the working title in English
although the production name will be in Gaelic
