It seems that some of the submission instructions have been overlooked, so I have set up a checklist for you to go over before submitting:

 

♪ Is the song you’re submitting on your profile page at www.MusicGorilla.com?

♪ Have you attached the MP3?

♪ Have you attached your lyrics in Word format?

 

Same rules apply to these submissions; please only submit appropriate music. For these submissions, email the MP3 to me at Alexia@MusicGorilla.com and also attach the lyrics in a Word document to the email as well. Please note: if your song is selected it is up to you to obtain legal counsel for negotiations.

YOUNG SINGERS (Hipjoint) Deadline 6/30/08 Limit 2 songs/artist
We are developing a youth record label with backing of corporations. Artists are aged between the ages of 8  and 17.
Style: Pop, all styles
 

EMMA VARG (Sweden) Deadline- 7/30/08   Limit 2 songs/artist
21 year old Swedish rock singer
Style: Metal/Rock songs along the lines of 80's Mötley Crüe, but with a female touch. Also think along lines of Blondie/Kim Wilde meets Guns N Roses.

Urban artist has worked with many producers including Ree Dawg (Bone Thugs), Ron Lawrence (Bad Boy, Biggie Smalls, Faith Evans, ect), Gorilla Tek (Ball Greezy, Iconz, Grind Mode). 
Style: R&B, urban/pop along the lines of Chris Brown Michael Jackson or Usher.
PS: Manager Brandon Young also looks after Caesar, the bilingual rock band, currently working on their first world wide release albums (English and Spanish) ala Nickelback and Mana; and Se7en, the hottest up and coming rapper in South Florida, currently working on his first international album, often compared to Luda and DMX for his tone and swagger. Co-writes possible.

 

SCREENED - ROMINA ARENA (major label tbc) – Deadline 10/1/08 Limit 2songs/artist

Female "Popera" international artist and writer, who has worked with Bocelli, Mario Frangoulis and now Alessando Safina. She sings, writes and speaks fluently in 9 different languages, with 2 PBS TV US special already to her credits at only 25 years old. She has signed an exclusive major deal in Las Vegas and will premiere there on May 10th 2008 at the Cannery Casino, a 3000 seat theatre.

Style: Popera is a fusion between pop anmd classical - a blend of Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion, for a 5-octave vocal range. Looking for great songs and/or instrumental tracks, as Romina writes most of her songs but is looking for collaborations. We are looking for another 'You Are Loved' (Josh Groban)  and 'Time To Say Goodbye' (Bocelli), or instrumental tracks ala Enigma and Sarah Brightman with more dynamics. The songs can be in any language .Currently we are also looking for Chinese and Japanese songs.

 

TRESA STREET (AMI) – Deadline 7/30/08 Limit 2 songs/artist
Experienced singer, songwriter and performer based in Tennessee.
Style: Country, country/blues or country/blues-rock along lines of Country Melissa Etheridge, Bonnie Raitt, or Wynnona, but with that country element.

VESTA WILLIAMS (Mytown Records) – Deadline 8/1/08 Limit 2 songs/artist

Multi-talented female artist who had a several national hit records in the 80's & 90's. eg. "Congratulations" and "Sweet Sweet Love" being among her biggest hits.

Style: Classic soul/R&B, like Chaka Kahn, Aretha Franklin, Lala Hathaway, Gladys Knight, Anita Baker and more.
