It seems that some of the submission instructions have been overlooked, so I have set up a checklist for you to go over before submitting:

♪ Have you attached the MP3?
♪ Have you attached your lyrics in Word format?

Same rules apply to these submissions; please only submit appropriate music. For these submissions, email the MP3 to me at Alexia@MusicGorilla.com and also attach the lyrics in a Word document to the email as well. Please note: if your song is selected it is up to you to obtain legal counsel for negotiations.

FEMALE ARTIST (Upper 11 Records) Deadline: 1/10/08 Limit: 2 songs/artist
Looking for tracks for new artist, just in process of finishing the album.
Style: Commercial guitar-based rock/pop, like Avril Lavigne, Girls Aloud, Sugababes.

SCREENED - CHRISTIAN SONGS WANTED Deadline: 2/11/08 Limit: 1 song/artist
Music wanted for inclusion in a hymn/song collection suitable for use in churches and schools. Must be congregational and melodic with appropriate Christian lyrics, with an emphasis on inclusive language welcomed. Must be available for international publishing. Themes/areas sought include: Scriptural focus, Gathering songs, Psalm settings - particularly common psalms, Eucharistic, Praise and Thanksgiving, Reconciliation and Forgiveness, Justice and Peace, Creation, Earth and Environment, Multicultural, Prayer and Meditation, Call and Response, Mission. We are open to receiving submissions using a variety of musical styles.

Popular actor on the Hannah Montana TV show and in Disney movies, making his debut album.
Style: Rap/pop along lines of Aaron Carter.

BLUES ARTISTS (Delmark Records) Deadline: 1/15/08 Limit: 2 songs/artist
Delmark is the oldest independent label in the USA, specializing in blues and jazz.
Several artists on the label are seeking material. Roster includes Jimmy Burns, Johnny B. Moore, Big Joe Wiliams etc.
Style: Blues of all tempos.

VARIOUS ARTISTS (306 Records) Deadline: 1/15/08 Limit: 2 songs/artist
306 is the Canadian Country Music Association "Record Company of the Year 2007."
Looking for material for a variety of artists on their roster, which includes Brad Johner, Patricia Conroy, Shane Yellowbird etc.
Style: All tempos of modern pop-country.

KIDDIE/TEEN BAND (Hip Joint, Canada) Deadline: 1/15/08 Limit: 2 songs/artist
Looking for really strong tunes like the song "Strutt" by the Cheetah Girls. They just had their kids perform all over for Elizabeth Arden Perfumes and they have asked them to perform to promote Hilary Duff's perfumes. They are developing a TV pilot in Search of The Next Little Diva. Competitions will be held across Canada for Elizabeth Arden. The winners get to form the next Little Divas. Ages 9 to 15.
Style: Looking for music that is similar to Hillary Duff, Hanna Montana, The Cheetah Girls, Hip Walt Disney Music like High School Musical. etc.
