	As an Artist Member, you receive a personal page, a public page, as well as a song page for each uploaded song. The moment a user clicks on your music, your song page appears with your picture, song story, and lyrics. This page will also feature a link to your main Artist page where a master list of your music will appear. Also, on your page, your bio, pictures and you can add links to your videos, social networking sites you use. Industry members may choose to add a comment or suggestion to your inbox that appears on your personal page. Display your gig calendar if you have upcoming gig dates and list the venues so that they may choose to check you out live.

	When we say Industry professionals, we are referring to people that have the ability to advance your career. This can include music supervisors who can place your music in films, tv shows, video games and more; publishers who may want to represent your songs; A&R who may want to sign you to a record deal; or other industry pros. Regardless of what type of industry they are, these members are carefully screened.

7.	Why does MusicGorilla.com charge for their services and how much does membership cost?	top

	MusicGorilla.com was designed to provide artists with opportunities that will help make their goals and dreams a reality. We do this by actively reaching out to industry members and welcoming them to use our site. We also do this through film, TV submissions and by hosting live label showcases for our members. We fly the Reps to these showcases on our dime. Industry members use MusicGorilla to find the music they’re looking for. Whether it’s finding the next big thing, or finding the music they seek for their film or television show. While there are many sites that charge no fee, they also don’t provide the same level of service that we do. We take a more proactive approach. While playing merely for the public on a highly populated site can be beneficial toward building your fan base, we feel that playing your music directly to Label reps and getting your music placed on film/television is the first step toward achieving your goals. Other sites that offer film submissions charge for each submission without the guarantee of having your material ever being submitted. Artists wind up spending hundreds, if not thousands of dollars trying to get their music heard by the appropriate party. Again, we take a different approach. We do not charge for any film,TV, or songwriting submissions here. 8.	How long is my membership term?	top

	Each Artist membership has a term of one year. For your convenience, the membership is auto renewed in one year intervals.

9.	Membership is FREE once I refer 4 Artist members?	top

	Artist members who refer 4 people who sign up as Artist members for one year, get their membership fee returned to them in full. You have the entire one year term of your membership to reach this goal. We were looking for a cost effective way to spread the word of how MusicGorilla.com is fast becoming the obvious choice in music exposure. What could be better than enjoying membership completely free of charge?

10.	What are the payment options?	top

	Our payment options are designed to meet all needs. Membership may be paid monthly, quarterly or upfront in full. Music Gorilla members who pay upfront will save more than $70. Quarterly payments are four payments of $64.95 every 3 months. Monthly payments are 12 payments of $24.95/month. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover. Membership can be paid via internet or telephone for your convenience. For your protection, our internet payment system is provided by VeriSign, the highest level of security available.

11.	Is there a fee to upload each MP3?	top

	No. The moment you become a member, you can upload three mp3s completely free of charge. For those who wish to upload more than three, there is a charge of $9.99 per upload. Save up to 50% by purchasing a package of 10 uploads for only $49.99. Again, if none of your music gets heard by the Music Industry, your membership and any upload charges you've incurred will be returned to you in full.

12.	Are members required to upload a certain amount of songs?	top

	Of your 3 free uploads provided with membership, you are required to upload one song immediately. You can upload the additional songs at any time during your membership. Regardless, as a member, you can upload an unlimited amount of songs.

13.	Does Music Gorilla choose which songs get heard?	top

	No. At Music Gorilla, we leave the listening to the Industry, they know what they're looking for.

14.	What does it mean when I've been "Tagged by the Industry"?	top

	When the Industry visits your Band Page or your Song Page a button will appear for them that says "Tag this Band" or "Tag this Song". When they like what they see and want to keep track of where you are on the Gorilla Chart, or want to be notified whenever you upload a new song, they will "Tag" you. It is the first sign that an Industry member is interested in you and your music!

15.	How do I get my music heard by the Labels on MusicGorilla?	top

	Each new song that is uploaded onto Music Gorilla is immediately placed onto the dedicated pages of the Industry pros. The music will be listed as "New Music Since Last logged On". Additionally, Music Gorilla has built a powerful and searchable database for the Music Industry professionals. They have the ability to search for music via genre, area, song title, most recommended songs, lyrics etc. Upon uploading each song, you will be prompted to choose a genre (rock/country/rap etc) that you feel best represents your music. You can choose which well known artist it "sounds like" or is most similar to. This assures proper placement of your tunes within our database. When the Industry pro searches for a specific sound that you've chosen, your songs will appear on their screen. We have given them the ability to "Tag" you, your band, or your song as a favorite so that each song that you upload will automatically appear on the "Tagged" section of their personal page.

16.	How will I know when a label is interested in my music?	top

	You will be contacted by them. We will pass your contact information to them, with your consent of course. Always keep us updated with your current contact information on your profile page.

17.	I want to contact an Industry member. What do I do?	top

	You don't. Some industry members may be kind enough to display their name and company name, however, this is not an invitation to contact them. Material that comes through MusicGorilla.com is considered solicited material for our industry members, material that comes directly from artists is generally considered unsolicited. The best thing to do is submit to appropriate projects and know that when an industry member is looking for your type of music, they will be able to find you. Until then, keep working to put out the best material.

18.	I've been signed! How much do I owe you?	top

	Not a dime. When we first contacted the labels, they asked us what percentage of the deal Music Gorilla was asking for. They were shocked to hear that we ask for NO financial compensation from either party. Music Gorilla asks for one thing only, a testimonial, posted on our website, sharing your success story. This will help musicians everywhere realize that Music Gorilla is fast becoming the obvious choice in music exposure. You win. They win. We have successfully performed our service.

19.	Do you have Industry members for every genre?	top

	Yes. Generally, Music Industry reps are interested in any genre, especially those that are looking for material for other artists, films or television shows.

20.	How will I know when my song has been heard by an Industry Rep.?	top

	You will be sent an automated e-mail each time your song has been heard by an Industry Rep. Our database records information as to exactly who, what, and where your song was listened to, downloaded or tagged.

21.	I have my own website. Why should I be at MusicGorilla.com?	top

	If you have relationships and a reputation with hundreds of Industry users then maybe you don't need us. Musicgorilla.com has worked hard to develop relationships with all different types of industry people, and we are constantly networking and being introduced to others. We also put out submissions specifically for Songwriters. In these submissions we accept songs for established artists looking for material to record.

27.	I did not get the Confirmation email or I lost the confirmation email, what do I do?	top

	You may want to check your mail filters. With all the new filters on emails, it may have ended up in another folder by accident. If that still does not work, send an email to tech@musicgorilla.com, and let us know so that we can activate your account manually.

28.	Can anybody download my music for free?	top

	No. Your music is protected at MusicGorilla.com. Only an interested INDUSTRY PROFESSIONAL has the ability to download your original material.

29.	How do I get signed to a record deal?	top

	To be brief, getting signed to a record deal takes time, effort and dedication. The "overnight success" is a rare occurrence. Labels are mostly interested in bands that have developed their fan base and have enjoyed a certain amount of independent sales with their own resources. MusicGorilla.com is the resource to help you reach this ultimate goal. We accomplish this through film submissions, distribution opportunities, LIVE label showcases and our 24/7 exposure to our Industry Reps.

30.	Can MusicGorilla.com guarantee I will get signed?	top

	No. Of course not. MusicGorilla.com can not guarantee that the music industry reps will like your material or sign any member at any time. However, MusicGorilla.com guarantees that if none of your music gets heard by the music industry, your membership fee and any upload charges will be returned to you in full. 31.	Why do I have to be at least 13 years old to use MusicGorilla.com?	top

Therefore, we do not permit registration by, and will not knowingly collect or use personally identifiable information from, anyone under 13 years of age. 32.	What if I’m a songwriter or don’t play live shows?	top

	If you don't play live shows, that's fine. Music Supervisors, producers, publishers and others are looking for songs, not performers. Make sure to take advantage of our free film, tv and songwriting submissions, they’re unlimited and included in your membership!

	Yes. You would receive a full refund. Music Gorilla was structured so that our services come at little or no risk to the artist. I'm now going on my 3rd year with MUSIC GORILLA, and must say that I am extremely pleased with the site, the Personal Service, and especially the Quality of my Band Pages that MG has made easy for me to set up....Giving my Band a Professional look and style that allows us to Showcase our original Music.

I particularly enjoy setting up my Song Pages. The great thing is there's so much space available to tell about your songs....Whether it's about How you wrote the song; or What you were feeling; or Who played with the Band on the Recording.....This is a great place to share who you are as a Songwriter or Band, and what your deeper message is. And of course there's a Lyrics section, so the listener can follow the Lyrics.

Music Gorilla is not like a lot of other sites....I feel it is more Exclusive, and designed for the serious Artist, Band, or Songwriter who is looking to reach both their Fans and the A&R Reps in the Music Industry who are looking for great songs and talented Artists. I really do receive Industry listings approximately 2X per month, and have had several songs forwarded for both Movies and other Famous Artists to consider recording.

Another thing I like that sets MG apart is the Neatness and Clarity of the entire Layout and Format.....Allowing us to communicate our message clearly and concisely to our audience. I personally dislike websites that are cluttered and chaotic.....Unprofessional (in my opinion) for the serious musician trying to make it in the Music Business.

Especially, I appreciate the personal service and accessibility of Alexia and the Music Gorilla staff. If I have a problem or question, an e-mail or even a phone call always gets a quick and helpful response.
